The script from the Asia Cup repeated itself as Sri Lanka simply crumbled under the scoreboard pressure. Chamari Athapaththu's 29 was the highest score, with only two other batters managing to get into double digits. Apart from an early blemish in the field from Shreyanka Patil, India were tidy in the field, backing up the bowling effort. Spin did all the damage, with Deepti Sharma being the star of the show with figures of 3/6 from her 4 overs.
