In addition to their gold medal triumph, the Indian contingent also celebrated a silver medal in the mixed 4x400m relay. The team, featuring Theerthesh Shetty, Poovamma MR, Bharath Sridhar, and Neeru Pathak, clocked a commendable 3:17.06 seconds. Earlier in the competition, the mixed 4x100m relay team earned a bronze medal with a time of 41.27 seconds, with members Pranav Gaurav, Tamanna, Animesh Kujur, and SS Sneha contributing to the effort. Thailand took home the gold in this event, finishing in 41.14 seconds, while China secured the silver with a time of 41.29 seconds.
The men's 4x400m relay team, however, faced a tougher challenge, finishing fifth with a time of 3:05.33 seconds. The team included Theerthesh Shetty, Avinash Krishna Kumar, Suraj A Raja, and Barath Sridhar. In this event, Vietnam, China, and Sri Lanka claimed the top three spots, with times of 3:02.60, 3:03.23, and 3:03.33 seconds, respectively. Meanwhile, the women's 4x400m relay team finished fourth, clocking 3:34.88 seconds, with Saloni Nagar, Poovamma MR, Ansa Babu, and Rashdeep Kaur representing India. Vietnam, China, and Kazakhstan took the gold, silver, and bronze medals in this event.
